Our Branding Process - A Behind the Scenes Look
Since Blades Creative launched in 2015, we have worked with many clients and created beautiful designs. While I have shared snippets of the process on Instagram and walked you through the brand creation side, much more is happening behind the scenes.
We offer a few different services ranging from brand design, packaging design, and creative partnerships. No matter which service you choose, our small-but-mighty team will serve as an advocate and designer to bring your purpose and potential out into the world.
While the behind-the-scenes process can vary from service to service, I wanted to expand on a client favorite and pull back the curtain on the approach we take for our Branding services.
Our Brand Packages
Are you a new business looking to establish your brand identity from start to finish? Or are you an established business looking to rebrand and hone in on your voice? We designed our branding packages with established and new companies in mind.
It's definitely a giant leap to trust someone to listen and bring your brand's potential and purpose to life, so we've crafted brand packages to break down the process and deliverables. Through intentional conversations, we'll be able to harness what is uniquely yours to deliver a brand guide that matches your needs and goals for the business.
We have two branding packages: the Essential Package and the Elevated package.
The Essential Branding Package is just that - essential. This package is a cost-effective option for companies who haven't finalized their branding, are still looking for inspiration, or are just plain stuck.
The Elevated Brand Package is a client favorite and one of our more cohesive brand service packages - it includes a logo, email template, social media template designs, and so much more! The Elevated Brand Package is highly collaborative. We work closely with the client through emails and scheduled meetings, so our team can fully understand the brand and its potential.
We crafted these two brand packages to help us harness what's unique to each client and deliver the branding and assets to match their needs and goals. Initial Brand Strategy
The first step is to onboard our client and schedule our Initial Brand Strategy session to discuss the brand, its goals, the voice, and any other pieces of business. We believe in collaboration and creation. So we want to work together to build your story and bring magic into our interactions with thoughtful questions and intentional conversations.
Leading up to the meeting and during the initial brand strategy meeting, we'll dive deep into your business and ask questions like:
Why did you initially want to start the business?
How are you uniquely working towards that long-term goal?
What do you do (in the simplest terms)?
What's your brand truth?
How do you want your audience to view your brand?
How do you view your brand?
Blades Creative Design Studio is your partner and guide throughout the design experience and wants to create impactful branding for your creative business. Our design process is intentional and collaborative, and it all starts with a deep-dive discovery of your brand.
Pen to Paper
Next, we'll take our conversations from the discovery call and put pen to paper to create genuinely organic designs. We'll start by sketching a few logo options to see what you (the client) will gravitate towards and what you feel truly encompasses your brand.
Once we have a final logo design, we'll work on your Branded Pattern or Texture. The Branded Pattern or Texture is based on the final logo design and compliments the main branding piece. Our team will typically create 2-3 options for the client to choose from to help ensure consistency for the next part of your Branded Package.

Brand Guide & Offboarding
After finalizing these assets, we will put together a comprehensive brand guide to carry with you in any future marketing endeavors.
We will schedule one last meeting to share your complete designs, discuss your brand guide, best practices, and start the off-boarding process to wrap up the project.

Therefore, our design process is both purposeful and collaborative. Each service starts with a deep-dive discovery of your brand, followed by pen and paper creation to foster an organic design and bring your brand to life.
