The Flower Girl

Vicki and her daughter in law Meg, run The Flower Girl together in the charming little town of Greeneville, Tennessee. With Vicki’s passions for her community, family, and gardening she invested in a plot of land in order to create a garden that would beautify the area and organically provide flowers that would be sold throughout the town.

Vicki and Meg are both creatives who had a clear vision for what they wanted Flower Girl to look like. But they needed help strategizing in regards to their future plans and bringing the vision to life in a professional and long lasting way.

The Process

To kick-off the project, Blades Creative Design Studio visited Greenville not only to see the flower farm, but to hear Vicki talk about her passion and why she started The Flower Girl. Seeing her passion for the community and her farm drove the inspiration for the project.

The next stop was her home office, where we pined over tiny seedlings, beautiful paper, plans for the land, a vision board, drawings and so on. Vicki surrounds herself in beauty and it felt special to be welcomed in to bring her thoughts and drawings to fruition.

After research on other flower farms, an extensive shared mood board, tons of sketches, lots of digital drafts and final drafts to get it JUST right, we landed on a vintage sign style logo with beautiful Tulips to represent The Flower Girl.
