Local Venture Legal
Whitney is a lawyer passionate about sustaining and growing the local ecosystem through working with mostly entrepreneurs. She also donates 10% of all legal fees to local nature conservations.
Her business was growing rapidly when she came to our studio looking for a solidified brand for Local Venture Legal. Whitney wanted to stand out from the stiff look most lawyers have for their brand. Our goal was to create something soft and approachable that would help clients to feel comfortable from the start.
The Process
Whitney wanted something that represented her passion for nature in combination with her law background. We explored hand drawn options that tended to be more trendy at the time, but in the end chose a meaningful inkwell with a feather pen. Instead of the feather lies a spruce branch to represent the states of Tennessee and Vermont, as well as the Greek Goddess Artemis.
